In a strategic collaboration, we at Allswater and Horizon Maritime are pleased to unveil our partnership for the Offshore Connected Worker Project, a $3.1 million initiative set to revolutionize marine operations through our latest joint venture - Underway Services. Emphasizing our commitment to cutting-edge marine technology and operational efficiency, this project reflects our dedication to excellence in ship design and naval architecture.
In the world of marine innovation and sustainable fisheries, it's not every day that you come across a groundbreaking project that encapsulates the spirit of progress, environmental stewardship, and community empowerment. The recent confirmation of the order for the Saputi II Factory Freezer Trawler by Canadian shipowner Qikiqtaaluk Fisheries is one such milestone. At Allswater, we take immense pride in our role in supporting this remarkable project and helping bring it to fruition.
At Allswater, we've always believed that ships are cool. But what's even cooler is transforming the maritime industry towards sustainability and innovation. Our electrification study for Ocean’s North of the Nova Scotia's lobster fishing fleet is not just about reducing emissions; it's about charting a course toward a more sustainable, efficient, and exciting future for marine engineering. Explore how Allswater is setting sail into uncharted waters to redefine the industry.
Focusing on simplicity and maintainability, the new XTidal Instream Platform (XIP) is our latest design for the tidal energy industry. Using input and feedback from industry experts, developers and turbine suppliers, our third generation platform has increased power capacity, modular construction and greatly enhanced stability.
Allswater continues its involvement in the tidal energy industry, undertaking a FEED (front end engineering and design) study of foundation installations for the Minas Basin in Nova Scotia. The study focuses on the design and deployment of subsea equipment in high flow regions which have limited infrastructure and heavy lift or DP vessels.
Allswater is pleased to have reached another milestone by receiving our ISO 9001:2008 Certificate of Registration from NSF-ISR - an internationally accredited registrar.
The ISO-9001 Quality Standards have proven to be the perfect tool to help synchronize the project management and document management systems that have fueled our success for a number of years. Our formalized approach to quality has become the glue between these two essential systems.
Rebuilding our Project Management System using Accelo
When Allswater went looking for a new project management and timekeeping system, we evaluated lots of options and demoed may of them. There was no one system that would do what we wanted. Through this research, we discovered a company that was doing cool things with electronic communications. Things we had no idea were possible.
