To quote Rob, “The limits we see around us, don’t limit us.” At work and at play, Rob sees the whole thing as an adventure, with his eye on collaboration, creativity, growth and improvement. His point of view inspires excellent results from the team. Rob started Allswater in 2003, and today we are largest commercially focused Naval Architecture design company in Eastern Canada with offices in Bedford Nova Scotia and St. John’s NL.
With over 20 years experience in the marine consulting industry, Rob focuses on project and marine engineering management working across all marine industries in ship design, conversions, construction, vessel technical operations, and more. Rob has previously taken on a long-term embedded Fleet Projects Director role with a major international client as the go-to person for management of all new vessel construction and conversions.

Tim is the technical lead who’s always there to solve a problem. With sleeves rolled up, and an unwavering commitment to the job, Tim sets this example and expectation for the entire Allswater crew. Tim has been around one waterfront or another for the most of his personal and working life. Originally from the Isle of Wight, then Vancouver and finally settling in Halifax, Tim started his career at sea working on icebreakers, seismic ships and various workboats. Ashore for the last 25 years, Tim has established a solid reputation in Marine Engineering Technical Services with commercial shipbuilding, conversions, offshore platforms, warship repair and overhaul, survey work and small marine craft design.
